WVDC Performance and Competition Teams are comprised of dancers ages 4 to 18 who desire additional performance opportunities and experience. WVDC performs on a variety of platforms, from regional to national competitions, local dance conventions, and holiday performances.
Please keep in mind that by committing to join these teams, you are contracted for the entire year and required to participate in all performances, competitions, and conventions as outlined by WVDC. Please see our team overviews for more details.

Is your dancer interested in becoming part of the WVDC Team for the 2024/25 season?
We have programs for all levels: Performance through Competitive.
Auditions will be held Friday, May 17th – Sunday, May 19th at our WVDC Bascom Studio. All new and returning team dancers will take part in our Technique Placements. All new team dancers auditioning will be required to take an Acrobatic Arts assessment. The dates and times are as follows:
Friday, May 17th
- 4:00-5:00pm Technique Placement (Ages 4-6)
- 5:00-6:00pm Technique Placement (Ages 7-8)
- 6:00-7:00pm Technique Placement (Ages 9-11)
- 7:00-8:00pm Technique Placement (Ages 12-14)
- 8:00-9:00pm Technique Placement (Ages 15-18)
- 4:00-5:00pm Acrobatic Arts Placement (Ages 7-8)
- 5:00-6:00pm Acrobatic Arts Placement (Ages 4-6)
- 6:00-7:00pm Acrobatic Arts Placement (Ages 15-18)

Saturday, May 18th
- 9:00-11:00am Mini Audition (Ages 4-6)
- 11:30-1:30pm Petite Audition (Ages 7-8)
- 2:00-4:30 pm Junior Audition (Ages 9-11)
Sunday, May 19th
- 9:00-12:00 pm Teen Audition (Ages 12-14)
- 12:30-3:30pm Senior Audition (Ages 15 & Up)
